Interactive ITB panel powered by Futouris on March 12th
2020 was an exceptional year; the pandemic forced all of us – travellers as well as companies and destinations – to take a step back and set new priorities. Awareness of global connections and relationships has been heightened and holiday is a product closely linked to trust, well-being and common good – now more than before the pandemic.
In our interactive panel at ITB 2021, we like to pursue the question of how travel companies and destinations can avoid setbacks in the future and become more resilient. Together with speakers and participants from all over the world, we will discuss which innovative strategies are necessary to shape a more sustainable tourism.
Join us on 12 March from 4 to 5 pm and share your fresh ideas and new visions with us and the six speakers. They will also share their vision of sustainable tourism development with the audience – and you can give feedback live and directly.
We are delighted that Gerald Kassner (CEO schauinsland-reisen), Wybcke Meier (CEO TUI Cruises) and Ralf Hieke (DRV Vice President and owner of the travel agency Strier) from our Futouris members will join the panel, as well as Prof. Dr. Julia Peters from the Futouris Scientific Advisory Board, the Tourism Minister of Costa Rica, Hon. Gustavo Segura Sancho, and Liisa Kokkarinen who is responsible for sustainable tourism at Visit Finland.
Our chairman Prof. Dr. Harald Zeiss will moderate the session and is looking forward to exciting insights and inspirational visions!
