For us, the conservation of natural resources, sustainable handling of flora and fauna as well as the respectful coexistence with people in the host countries are not only a question of customer satisfaction and quality, but especially also a question of our responsibility.

Hidden treasures from our past cultures still exist. One of these treasures has been discovered by the Cologne Institute for Conser- vation Sciences in Cambodia. The specially-designed “Temple Savior” program is intended to serve as a standardized program for historic preservation methods.
Each year, members choose a Futouris Project of the Year. All members participate and set up an extra donation pool. The 2010 winner was the project "Wa(h)l-Heimat " (Whale Homeland), a project that demonstrates just how well contributions from the tourism industry can benefit species conservation.

Alejandro de Humboldt National Park is located in the less developed part of eastern Cuba and is the last large, contiguous tropical forest area in the Caribbean Islands. This project supports reforestation activities to help preserve its treasure-trove of biodiversity.
